TAKIN PRESERVE

The Takin is Bhutan’s national animal and physically appears to be the cross-combination of an ox, antelope, sheep and goat. This unique and rare animal is endemic to the Eastern Himalayas, and the best part is that the reserve is just a 20-minute walk away from The Pema. You get to watch these incredible creatures up close and participate in their feeding should you wish.
